Return Policy
Med Depot is committed to providing quality pharmaceutical products and dependable customer service. Due to the strict regulatory requirements governing the storage, handling, and distribution of prescription pharmaceuticals, all sales are considered final unless otherwise authorized by Med Depot in accordance with this Return Policy.
Return Eligibility
Returns will be considered only under the following circumstances:
- Med Depot shipped an incorrect product.
- Product was damaged during transit.
- Product was received with concealed shipping damage.
- Product quantities do not match the packing slip or invoice.
- Product was shipped in error by Med Depot.
Any other return request is subject to review and approval by Med Depot's Quality Assurance Department and may be approved solely at Med Depot's discretion.
Customers are responsible for inspecting all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Any shortage, shipping damage, incorrect merchandise, or other discrepancy must be reported to Med Depot within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to notify Med Depot within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of the shipment and may result in denial of the claim.
Return Authorization
No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization from Med Depot.
Customers requesting to return merchandise must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns received without an authorized RMA may be refused or destroyed without credit. Sales representatives are not authorized to approve returns or issue RMAs.
Conditions for Approved Returns
Approved returns must meet all of the following requirements:
- Product must remain in the original manufacturer-sealed packaging.
- Product must be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition.
- Product must have been stored and handled in accordance with the manufacturer's recommended storage conditions.
- Original lot numbers, expiration dates, and serialized identifiers, where applicable, must remain intact and match Med Depot's distribution records.
- Product must be returned within the timeframe specified on the approved RMA.
All returned merchandise is subject to inspection by Med Depot prior to the issuance of any credit.
Non-Returnable Merchandise
- Opened, partially used, or repackaged products.
- Products removed from the original manufacturer packaging.
- Products with altered, damaged, or missing labels, lot numbers, expiration dates, or serialized information.
- Products marked with stickers, tape, writing, or other alterations.
- Merchandise that has not been stored under manufacturer-recommended conditions.
- Product damaged due to improper storage, handling, misuse, environmental exposure, or customer negligence.
- Expired products.
- Short-dated, closeout, clearance, liquidation, or special-order merchandise.
- Overstock, inventory reduction, or customer ordering errors.
- Products purchased from any source other than Med Depot.
- Merchandise returned without an approved Return Merchandise Authorization.
- Over-the-counter (OTC) products and medical devices.
- Refrigerated or cold-chain products, unless the return is the direct result of a documented shipping error by Med Depot.
Damaged Shipments
Visible shipping damage should be noted with the delivering carrier at the time of delivery whenever possible.
Concealed damage must be reported to Med Depot within 48 hours of delivery and should include photographs of the shipping carton, damaged merchandise, shipping label, and sales order / invoice number. Med Depot will review the claim and determine whether replacement, credit, or other corrective action is appropriate.
Shipping Charges
When a return is authorized due to an error by Med Depot, return shipping instructions will be provided by Med Depot.
For customer-requested exception returns approved by Med Depot, the customer is responsible for all return shipping charges unless otherwise authorized in writing.
Restocking Charges
Returns approved as customer convenience exceptions may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% in addition to applicable outbound and return freight charges.
Med Depot reserves the right to waive or modify such charges at its sole discretion.
Credits and Adjustments
Credit will be issued only after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by Med Depot.
Original freight charges, expedited shipping charges, and payment processing fees are non-refundable.
Reservation of Rights
Med Depot reserves the right to deny any return request that does not comply with this policy or that may compromise product integrity, patient safety, or applicable regulatory requirements.
This Return Policy may be revised or amended at any time without prior notice. Acceptance of delivery constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth herein.
